This also includes the standardization of service specifications and their electronic transmission and the tendering, award of contracts and subsequent execution of a construction project.A practical example provides a district administration that would like to refurbish a school sports hall energetically. For the call for tenders, it uses awarding software with which it makes an entry on an Internet portal. Companies that view this Internet portal then create a bill of quantities with awarding software and transmit this data to the district administration, which evaluates bids received and prepares a price comparison list using awarding software.
