There are many types of equipment in the laboratory. If we classify the equipment according to the calibration properties of the equipment, it can be divided into the following three categories:
1. Those who need regular correction:
Any equipment used for preparation measurement and other matters as a basis for product release or delivery to the competent authority belongs to this category of equipment.
These equipment must formulate a reasonable calibration plan, establish a reasonable calibration cycle, regularly test these equipment with standard products, and judge whether the response obtained is normal, and record it.
The selection of standard products must be traceable. After the calibration is completed, a "calibration label" must be affixed to this type of instrument. The label should have at least the following information: the date of the last calibration, the signature of the calibration staff, The validity period of the current correction, etc. This type of instrument is the most numerous in the laboratory.
For example: HPLC, UV/VIS, FTIR, AA, polarimeter, balance, fluorescence spectrometer, automatic titrator, disintegration meter, abrasion meter and oven, etc.
These instruments must be calibrated strictly in accordance with the established calibration plan. If the instrument is found to deviate from the allowable calibration range, the calibrator shall issue a formal notice and follow standard procedures to remove obstacles.
2. Correction before use:
This type of instrument is calibrated by the user before use. The user needs to use standard products or calibration control standards to verify this type of instrument, and record the status of the instrument in the laboratory diary as one of the data for the analysis of the test product.
These instruments need to be labeled "Calibration before use". It is worth mentioning that some of these instruments and equipment also need to be calibrated regularly, and there must be a verification plan.
For example: IR, balance, PH meter, total organic carbon analyzer and conductivity, etc. are all such instruments.
3. Those who do not need correction:
In addition to the above two types of equipment, the other one does not require calibration.
The reason is that the purpose of this type of equipment is not to generate data for the official inspection of data.
The data obtained by these instruments will not be used for any purpose, and the body should also be labeled with "no correction". Such instruments include: heating plate, magnetic stirring plate, microwave digestion device, printer, shaker , Ultrasonic water bath and vortex stirrer, etc.

Functionality
INSIDE CéRAM membranes are operated according to the principle of crossflow (cross-flow filtration). The filtrate / permeate is pressed through the membrane, which is located on the inside of the channels, by the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the channels. All particles or molecules whose diameter is larger than the pore diameter of the membrane are retained. At the same time, the shear forces generated by the membrane overflow prevent the formation of a filter cake and thus lead to continuous cleaning of the membrane. The membranes are used in stainless steel module housings. The specially developed sealing system offers the greatest possible safety in process operation and optimum protection for the membrane.
The main areas of application for the membranes are filtration and separation processes in the food and beverage industry, chemical process technology, biotechnology and water and wastewater treatment. As standard, TAMI distributes multi-channel membranes with non-circular channel geometries. This maximizes the active filter area per membrane element. The membranes under the brand "InsideCeRAM" are offered in a total of 13 different separation limits together with stainless steel housings in 6 different size classes.
