A special lighting variant is the floor lamp. A floor lamp usually consists of a ceiling floodlight and a reading lamp. Floor lamps are available in various sizes and designs. Energy-saving lamps and LED lamps, which are particularly economical in the latest models, serve as light sources. Floor lamps create a beautiful lighting effect through the ceiling floodlight, whereby the light intensity is variably adjustable. In the living room, a floor lamp provides good lighting while watching TV. It's not ideal to sit in the dark room by the TV. Changing the light in a dark room puts a lot of strain on the eye. The use of a ceiling lamp usually creates too much lighting for the room and can be dazzling when someone makes themselves comfortable on the sofa. That's disturbing. The floor lamp, on the other hand, brings ideal lighting into the room. Another advantage of the floor lamp is that the lamp is not fixed, i.e. it can be placed wherever it is needed. Moving to another room is no problem. The highlight of the floor lamp is of course the reading lamp. This lamp is movable and individually adjustable to the respective need. The strong punctual lighting of the reading lamp provides wonderful light for reading, handicrafts and other activities where good lighting is required. Furthermore, this light does not disturb other people in the room and does not dazzle them.
