How light sources influence our lives The term light source is used to describe the starting point from which light emanates. In the great outdoors, only a few light sources are known. The most famous is probably the sun. Other light sources are known from fireflies and other luminescent organisms. The word basically means nothing else than that light is produced by a chemical reaction. Light is vital for humanity, which is why millions of years ago another partly natural, partly artificial light source was created. Everybody knows her. It's the fire. The combustion of wood and other resources produces light due to light-intensive photons. However, not every fire also produces light. The purely artificially created light source has only recently been discovered: The light bulb. This is actually nothing more than a wire through which a lot of electricity is sent. Since the wire has its own resistance, frictional energy is generated, which in turn is converted into heat energy and light energy. We already have the first electronic light source.Light sources are used in all areas of life today, so that we humans can see everything well. The best example of this are high-performance light sources in an operating theatre, so that doctors can see all the necessary factors perfectly during an operation. Even cars have an incredible number of necessary light sources, like headlights, indicators and so on.The technology for light sources goes on and on and there are always new technologies for light like LED and xenon headlights.
