Tilting station increases efficiency and work safety
Handling technology is an elementary component of work safety as well as the efficient performance of work with heavy containers or containers with hazardous contents. We have a wide range of different devices in our assortment, such as tilting stations for boxes, crane grabs or lifting and tilting columns for barrels.
Advantages of the tipping station and similar aids
Whenever drums, boxes, containers or similar receptacles have to be tipped for emptying, this is a challenge. Because in these situations, provisionally used aids can lead to a high risk. Especially when the contents pose a hazard to operators and the environment. A special tilting station optimises the handling of drums and other containers by lifting the container safely for employees and the environment and tilting it in a targeted manner. In addition, emptying by means of the handling technology used reduces the invested working time and thus ensures a high degree of efficiency.
The tilting station in different variants
Depending on the container, different tilting stations are available. For example, for emptying large crates, a crate tipper specially designed for crates is ideal. It works with compressed air and achieves a tilt angle of 130°. Within a few seconds it refills the contents. The crane grab for drums represents a combination of transport and tilting station. The hydraulically operated grab reliably secures the drum in any situation and is able to mix the drum contents before emptying by means of rotary movements.
For emptying drums at different heights, the tilting station in the form of a lifting tilting column is ideal. With a discharge height of 2.3 metres, it lifts the container to the desired height in order to fill the contents safely and quickly.
