PAYNE Pallet Inverters Ltd. has been in business for more than 40 years. The late Alan Payne holds the original patent for pallet turners (sometimes referred to as pile turners).
The concept was developed as a solution for removing damaged 25 kg bags of ICI fertiliser from the bottom of an already palletised load. No more finishing by hand, but turning the load 180º or 95º. The damaged bags on the pallet floor become directly accessible. Damaged pallets can be replaced just as easily. Against this background, the first machines were manufactured. For Payne Pallet Inverters, this was the start of a successful development that lasted for decades.
