Automator, headquartered in Italy and with a large worldwide network, is one of the oldest industrial marking companies with over 80 years of experience, and with a focus on quality and innovation, serves companies in the automotive, electronics, metalworking and packaging industries, among others. Marking technologies include laser engraving, dot peen, and impact, scribe and roll marking.

Nill + Ritz is one of the leading system partners for sophisticated marking systems, whether needle embossers, scribe markers, laser markers or engraving machines. Today, state-of-the-art semi-automatic or fully automatic machines and inline production solutions mark components of all kinds, such as crankshafts, gear wheels, brake disks, screws, shower heads or type plates.
Our customers today include the who's who of the automotive industry, medical technology, aerospace, mechanical engineering, toolmaking and the engraving industry. Our most important market is Germany. In addition, our products are distributed worldwide via sales offices, e.g. in many European countries, the USA, China, Mexico and South Africa.

Company - the ÖSTLING Group
In the middle of the 18th century, steel experts of Walloon origin emigrated from Belgium to northern Sweden. Your name was Pierro. In the up-and-coming ironworks district of Sandviken, they attained prosperity, bought a manor and changed their name: ÖSTLING.
Her interest in technology remained unchanged. They developed machines, e.g. to convey peat rationally, to deform steel or to produce nails.
This innovative thinking and the motivation of our ancestors have shaped the founder of the company Rolf Östling.
In 1945 he was born in Gävle in Sweden, a harbour town, and after graduating from high school while studying industrial engineering, he had the idea of developing a labelling system.
He started building a machine in a tiny dark cellar in 1968.
His first customers were Sandvik (the world's largest hard metal producer) and Svenska (ball bearing factory).
Innovations such as corrosion-free electrolytes and stencil material with very long service lives helped the company to expand further.
Then in 1978 he moved to Germany (Essen) and founded the company ÖSTLING Vertriebs GmbH.
In 1979, the company headquarters were moved to Solingen, as the cutlery and cutlery industry in the town of Klingen has a worldwide reputation and market potential is concentrated here.
Due to the constant expansion, especially in export, the company moved again in 1988 within Solingen in order to meet the development and space requirements. The company is renamed ÖSTLINGMarkiersysteme GmbH.
In 2003 the company STOMMEL+VOOS Marking Technologies GmbH from Solingen became an important part of the worldwide represented ÖSTLING Group, offering solutions and technologies for all problems of industrial marking in the daily production process from one source.
The product range of STOMMEL+VOOS includes e.g. stamping tools, hand punches, wheel punches, disc punches or type holders. In addition, STOMMEL+VOOS also offers needle embossers, scribe embossers, presses, stamping machines, marking systems, high-tech robot marking systems and special machine construction.
Through the acquisition of further companies, further expansion and internationalisation, ÖSTLING Markiersysteme GmbH becomes ÖSTLING Marking Systems GmbH in 2013.
At the same time, foreign sales offices were established in Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, China (Shenzen and Hong Kong), France, England and the USA.
In the German headquarters in Solingen, a modern development and production centre has been established, where hardware and software development is carried out.
The ÖSTLING Group now offers marking systems for almost every product.
For almost 50 years now, the ÖSTLING Group has been one of the world market leaders in product labelling. The family-owned company is the pioneer of electrolytic marking.
In addition to needle embossing and scribing, the product range also includes state-of-the-art technologies such as laser marking and vision systems, as well as special mechanical engineering tailored to individual customer requirements.
Customers appreciate the safety, reliability and compatibility of ÖSTLING products. Thanks to the production at the headquarters in Solingen, the predicate "Made in Germany" and "Quality from Solingen" are written in capital letters.

Traceability (product traceability)
In the event of recalls of defective products, affected companies suffer high image-related and above all financial losses. The main reason for this is the lack of ability to recognize quality defects in the company in good time and to quickly and effectively isolate affected products and product components along the supply chain.

Design is an indispensable component of successful brand management and an integral part of a customer-oriented corporate strategy. counterfeit protection
Supposedly cheap car parts are quickly ordered on the Internet. However, the cheap parts (mostly from China or Eastern Europe) are often counterfeit. Due to short life span bargain hunters have to pay at the end however. Counterfeiting of safety-relevant parts can lead to serious accidents and life-threatening situations. For example, inferior brakes can significantly increase the braking distance or torn rims can break apart. Counterfeits are sometimes very difficult for dealers and car mechanics to recognise, not to mention the end customer. With our marking solutions, originals can be clearly marked and legally identified.
