GSW shears are used in cut-to-length lines and as scrap choppers. In harsh environments they have to run fast, long and cost effective.
GSW cutting shears for strip widths up to 800 mm can cope with this. The pneumatic and hydraulic shears are designed to be highly efficient: The light pneumatic shears achieve up to 500 cuts/min. The heavy pneumatic shears bring greater robustness. Up to a sheet thickness of about 3 mm, they are the extremely cost-effective alternative to hydraulic shears, as hydraulic power pack and electrical control are not required.
The hydraulic shears of the TSHL series can handle high cycle rates and thick materials. Hydraulic shears of the TSHS series even offer cutting capacities for up to 12 mm thickness - with maximum torsional rigidity. Shears of larger cutting widths are used in our cut-to-length lines and longitudinal cut-to-length lines. Here we work together with reliable mechanical engineering partners from Germany: Electric and hydraulic eccentric shears as well as servo shears for fast cutting sequences meet every need for output and performance.
