Adhesive labels are writing papers on which adhesive material and a protective film have been applied on the reverse side. These labels are available in various sizes and shapes. There are certain standard sizes for office supplies or to be able to mark these labels with a computer. These standardized labels have the overall size of an A4 sheet, whereby the respective label size is pre-punched by machine and can be easily removed from the sheet after the labeling.In everyday office life, adhesive labels are not only used for labeling various objects, but also for labeling envelopes. In this case, the addresses are printed on the labels and then glued to the envelopes. This procedure is preferred if the envelopes are in a special size so that they do not fit into the existing printer or typewriter. Furthermore, packages are also labelled with adhesive labels.In the private sector, adhesive labels are used e.g. for labelling frozen goods. The advantage of the labels is that the adhesive holds on the packaging without problems even at cold temperatures.But adhesive labels are also very practical for labelling school articles. For children labels are offered in many colourful colours and also with printed favourite motifs, e.g. a Disney figure. Kindergartens also like to use adhesive labels with different motifs, as the children are not yet able to read. The children simply remember the figure or colour of their labels and know where their seat or wardrobe is.
