The laboratory thickness gauge determines the thickness profile of a film strip. Here, a band cut out of the film tube is automatically measured. The laboratory device is equipped with two sensors, a non-contact capacitive sensor and a probe for absolute measurement. The capacitive sensor is calibrated by measuring a small section of the film with both sensors. To facilitate handling, all movement processes are automated. Practical accessories, such as a stand and PC software, enhance the performance of this device. Measurement according to DIN 53370 / ISO 4593: Instead of the capacitive measurement, a measurement conforming to standards can also be carried out.
