iiM AG measurement + engineering is the developer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality, high-performance products for industrial image processing.
In Germany, we develop and manufacture on the hand high-performance and highly functional LED lights under the LUMIMAX® brand for machine vision applications in a very wide range of industrial areas, such as for the automobile, semiconductor, pharma, food, drinks and tobacco industries.
On the other hand the second division of iiM AG develops and markets under the brand VisioCablePro® special measuring technology and peripherals for the cable and wire industry to record geometric features, particularly on insulating covers and cable sheathing, in accordance with standards.
A team of over 30 engineers, technicians and skilled workers assists our customers as a partner when realising their challenges.

We are a system integrator in the field of optics and have specialized in digital image processing. As a provider of various technical methods, we evaluate, design and build devices and systems for testing and inspection of serial parts. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction of automated measuring equipment for 100% control and numerous patents, we are a recognized technology partner of the industry. At the same time, we support integrators who need a solution for the challenges of industrial image processing.
As a manufacturer of special purpose machines we focus on the automated error control of finished parts. Here we develop solutions for the automotive industry and mechanical manufacturing for the inspection of workpieces, surfaces, bores, cracks, threads and their automatic measurement.
For the qualitative support of internal production, we develop, design and build test stations for turned parts or rolled profile parts. Here our focus is on parts inspection and process monitoring of large series for the automotive industry. As a recognized supplier, we deliver precision parts with a zero defect tolerance. In automated optical inspection stations, the highest qualities are thus achieved. We have equipped the current productions with SPC production test stations, whose data are transferred to a CAQ.
Especially when it comes to solving new types of tasks, we have a network of partners at our side whom we can call in on a topic-related basis and thus expand our own competence on demand. In this way, we develop modular stand-alone solutions with components that can be integrated into and extend existing systems.
For the 100% inspection of synchronizer rings made of brass, steel or sintered metals for automotive transmissions, we developed a complex system for error control of external characteristics. In addition to digital measurement and inspection for completeness, we use a novel solution for magnetic inspection of cracks in the material.
