Implementation The compact diagnostic system efector octavis evaluates the vibration behaviour using frequency analysis methods. A micromechanical acceleration sensor serves as a sensor. Data can be collected, processed and evaluated decentrally without expert know-how. The structure-borne noise is recorded, the frequency spectrum calculated and thus the rolling bearing condition and unbalance evaluated. The status can be read directly on site and is also signalled by binary switching outputs. Connection to a bus system is also possible. The device of type VE1001 enables the monitoring of up to five different objects or 20 individual frequencies. A rolling bearing or shaft is defined as an object.
