The Ri360P-QR24 non-contact rotary encoder makes no compromises in terms of robustness and resolution and, like conventional rotary encoders, is used wherever speeds, directions of rotation, positions, angles and lengths need to be monitored. In addition, the TURCK portfolio offers encoders in various designs, graded in sizes from 24 to 102 mm diameter, incremental or absolute, as hollow or solid shaft devices. This allows positioning tasks to be performed with a resolution of up to 18 Bit (for absolute devices) and up to 36,000 pulses (for incremental devices) per revolution.

Non-contact sensors (proximity switches, inductive, capacitive and ultrasonic sensors) are used for precision sensing of dynamic motions. The universal BDK-Doublesheet-Detector-system is firmly established in the automotive industry. For applications that do not need this functionality, there are lower-cost systems of Double Sheet Detectors, Doublesheet Controllers and Sheet Thickness Sensors. These are used in many fields when handling and processing metal and metal-coated materials to avoid damage and downtime.
