Laminating systems are used for sealing special films. These plastic films are called laminating films and usually serve as protection for normal paper. A sheet is placed in the foil sides provided for this purpose and guided through the machine. This machine is also known as a laminating machine. This then welds together all the film parts lying on top of each other, i.e. the projecting part at the edge of the sheet. In this way, the two halves of the film form a firm connection. The now created plastic cover is more stable than the blade itself, it is flexible, washable and therefore very long and versatile. Welding is normally carried out at about 60 - 80 °C, which is also referred to as thermal bonding or lamination.
