A film is pulled onto the carrier on wrapping machines with a hot melt adhesive. It is important that the film not only covers the visible surface of the strip, but is also pulled around the visible side on the upper and lower edges. This prevents tearing out at neuralgic points, such as corners or edges. To avoid planing and unclean surfaces, only MDF with a density of 700 kg/m and a top layer of 1,000 kg7/m should be used for the wrapping.
