Description

A vibration sensor (also called vibration sensor) of modern design consists of a piezoceramic which is preloaded by a so-called seismic mass. Due to the vibrations, the mass hits the piezoceramic, similar to the hammer in an electric lighter. The latter thereby releases a charge which is converted into a voltage signal by a corresponding charge amplifier. All vibration sensors from our company, with the exception of some high temperature models, have an integrated charge amplifier. This makes the use of the vibration sensors particularly easy.
The main optical distinguishing feature of the vibration sensors is the different size. The design of the vibration sensors, however, is mainly related to the sensitivity and the associated frequency band. Put simply, low-frequency transducers are more sensitive and have a much larger housing than, for example, miniature sensors used for high-frequency applications. Industrial vibration sensors form an attractive average value: they have a sensitivity of 100 mV/g and a typical frequency band of 1 Hz to 8000 Hz.
At the lower end of the scale you will find so-called seismic vibration sensors to measure vibration. Our reference transducer 731A has a sensitivity of 10 V/g with a typical frequency response of 0.05 Hz to 500 Hz. At the other end, we supply vibration sensors for shock applications, which have a measuring range of up to 70,000 g with a frequency response well above 15,000 Hz.
All vibration sensors from our company have a stainless steel housing and are therefore suitable for rough industrial use. The standard connectors have a protection degree of IP67, but submersible vibration sensors are also available for use in several 100 m water depth.
In contrast to our force or pressure sensors, vibration sensors with integrated charge amplifier require a constant current supply. This means that the supply electronics supply the supply voltage via a constant current diode over a constant supply current between 2 and 5 mA. Our measuring amplifiers for vibration sensors VIB-KS are optimally equipped for this task and can supply the effective value or limit contacts in addition to the peak-to-peak acceleration. Vibration measurement made easy.

About us
SINOCERA PIEZOTRONICS, INC was established in 2001, with 34.6 million yuan registered capital and factory area more than 9000m2 . We are mainly engaged in the development, production, and sales of high-performance piezoelectric ceramic materials, piezoelectric sensors and dynamic testing instruments. We are committed to the research and application development of high performance of piezoelectric ceramic materials. Successfully developed all kinds of different performance piezoelectric ceramic products, and the piezoelectric ceramic material ultra-high piezoelectric constant (D33 >800PC) has reached the international advanced level. Our products has get a good reputation all over the world, for example, our professional D33 Test Meter was very popular. Also we have a good quality control system, have passed ISO9001. Some of the products have received the certificate for measurement assurance and the explosion proof certificate, Rohs certificate, CE certificate and so on.
