Geriatric day clinic
The offer of the partial inpatient rehabilitation (day clinic) is directed at patients who still need therapies in high temporal frequency, but no longer require the 24-hour care of the clinic. The day clinic supports the transition from the clinic to the newly organized everyday life. The rehabilitation result acquired in the full-time inpatient sector is stabilised in this context. For general practitioners, semi-inpatient rehabilitation offers the possibility of avoiding referrals.
In addition to the cost commitment by the health insurance company, a prerequisite for admission is that the patients are motivated, sufficiently physically resilient and live in the immediate vicinity. The treatments are carried out from Monday to Friday, although they are also possible above ground (e.g. Monday-Wednesday-Friday).
Breakfast should be served at home. Individual and group therapies take place until lunch and the subsequent rest period and afterwards. In the afternoon the return journey takes place.
