Three-phase isolating transformers for rooms used for medical purposes DMED
according to VDE 0570 / EN 61558-2-15
- The transformers of the DMED series comply with VDE 0570 for power supplies in rooms AG 2, with the additionally reinforced insulation according to EN 61558-2-4.
- Between the primary and secondary winding there is a static shield (shield winding) with a brought out, insulated connection. This shielding (terminal S) may be connected to the PA.
- The secondary winding has a brought out star point which can be used to connect the insulation monitoring device.
- The transformers have rubber-bonded metals for insulated installation.
- In addition, the rubber-bonded metals reduce the noise of the transformer.
- Corrosion protection and the avoidance of humming noises is ensured by vacuum impregnation using a casting resin.
- Unit-tested with CE mark
- Terminals easily accessible and touch-proof according to VBG4. Connection cross-sections correspond to the current strengths.
- All transformers have foot fastenings according to DIN standard for uniform pre-assembly.
- Fuses on the input and output side can be supplied ready-wired on request at an extra charge.

Get to know our history
Founded in 2013, ABMT started out with the intention of selling and refurbishing electrical transformers. In 2015, after winning a contract to recycle transformers in Piauí, the company expanded its operations to recover other materials that make up transformers, such as mineral oil, copper, aluminum, ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
In 2020, it began expanding its factory structure and, the following year, doubled its fleet of trucks. Also in 2021, it signed its first international contract. Finally, in 2023, it signed a contract with one of the country's largest electricity utilities.
With a team of highly qualified and experienced specialists, ABTM prides itself on offering efficient and sustainable recycling solutions for the industrial sector. With quality and safe services, we contribute to a more conscious and sustainable future!
