Fitting and threaded bores, workpiece chamfers as final design or weld seam preparation as well as countersinks and milling contours in the most diverse forms can be realized here.
In order that not only sheet metal is brought into its optimal form, but also hollow and sectional steels are processed, a modern and in its possibilities very extensive sectional beam drilling machine with mitre band saw was put into operation. It excellently combines length cutting and the insertion of through and threaded holes in a combined production process. The generously dimensioned feed conveyor with CNC-controlled measuring carriage enables the processing of sectional steels up to 13 m in length. The automatic length measurement supports the precise positioning of the base material in the area of the 3-axis drilling unit. Up to 5 different tools per axis can be activated here.
