bedra is the leading manufacturer of electronic wires. At our German locations we produce square profiles as well as flat and round wires which can be requested with various highly precise serrated finishes. Production of our precision wires begins in our own foundry where only virgin metals are melted. They form the basis of a range of more than 80 different alloys. On our own electroplating equipment, our electronic wires are provided with function coatings.
The bedra pure tin coatings (Sn100) are, of course, RoHS compliant. We offer solutions to prevent whisker growth by using bedra barrier layers as well as thermal treatment with the bedra reflow technique.

bedra electronic wires find their application in the connector and bobbin industry. Our versatile range of alloys provides also product solutions in the area of heating cables and special alloys for the cable industry.

• Wires in round, flat or wound shape
• Available diameters from 0,010mm up to 0,500mm depending on material characteristics, other dimensions available upon request
• Flat wire dimensions starting at 20µm thickness, details available upon request
• Wires are available as bare, electroplated or lacquered materials

• Copper, silver as bare wires and as silver-clad wires with different layers and as alloys with different compositions
• Copper, Tin as tin-plated wires with different tin layers from 5% up to 50% and as alloys with different compositions

• Copper-clad wires with varying high-resistance cores (Elcon-wires), bare and tin-plated with different tin layers from 5% up to 50%
