The forced- and self-ventilated motors are, et al. used as pump motors
in vertical multi-stage process pumps. This application is characterized
by a quadratic load characteristic curve, high mechanical and thermal
requirements on the bearing, high motor speed and rough conditions of
use.

Split-pole motors have two coils and an auto start squirrel cage induction motor for single-phase AC operation. The motors can be delivered with either clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. The design complies with the insulating material class "B" of standard VDE 0530 and protection category IP 00 per DIN 40050. The motors are stall-resistant and do not cause radio or television interferences. The rotor shaft is supported on A lubrication reservoir inside the bearings guarantees a long service life.
