The straight on closing machine GV-HM is a high performance 3 flaps closer, folding the lid of filled cartons and closing the front flap and the two side tabs by a hot melt system.Uncoated cardboard flaps (hot melt version) of different qualities and pack designs can be processed.
The packaging process is straight-lined involving precise forming at extremely high speed. With different intervals the packs run into the machine. Round belts without drags move the packs in the necessary pitch position. First of all a guide folds the lid. After this a glue trace is applied on to the front of the pack. The front flap is then folded over and glued to the box front wall in a continuous flow. Then the pack is rotated by the turning station at 90°. Thereafter the narrow sides of the pack are glued. The end flaps are folded and pressed to the gluey sides. A central changeover system and configurable format programs (for speed) ensure high flexibility and short format changeovers (approx. 10 min./ 1 person).
