Stretch film is typically manufactured from Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) using advanced cast extrusion technology. It provides excellent stretchability, high tensile strength, strong puncture resistance, and reliable load retention. When wrapped around palletized goods, the film tightly secures products together and prevents movement during handling and logistics.
Stretch films are commonly used in both manual and automated packaging operations. Hand stretch film is widely applied in warehouses and small-scale packaging environments, while machine stretch film is designed for high-volume pallet wrapping on automatic or semi-automatic wrapping machines.
Stretch film offers several advantages for industrial packaging, including high transparency for product identification, strong tear resistance, and protection against dust, moisture, and contamination. In addition to finished stretch film rolls, jumbo stretch film (master rolls) are also available for distributors and packaging material converters.
