Our core competence lies in the field of polyurethane foams (also known as PUR or PU foams) based on polyether and polyester - we have the right material for every application.
For the automotive industry, for example, we manufacture acoustic foams, thermally effective components for insulating vehicle interiors and exteriors, as well as foams for headliners, seats and door panels, and 2-component foam systems. For the industry we offer technical foams and individual foam packaging. We support the trade with foam cores for mattresses and unique services. Steinbach GmbH was founded by the Steinbach family in 1981. With a healthy dose of pioneering spirit and the necessary entrepreneurial vision, it subsequently developed to become a successful mid-sized industrial service provider with locations in Detmold and Ulm (Germany) as well as Charlotte (USA).
In addition to technical wholesale, the company focused on the processing of elastomers for customers in the mechanical engineering, plant and vehicle construction sectors right from an early stage. This set the course for a modern finishing, manufacturing and service provision enterprise.
