Blow molding is mainly used to produce hollow objects such as bottles and containers.in this process, thermoplastic plastic is melted and blown into a mold so that it fills the inner walls of the mold and takes on the desired shape after cooling.
Thermoforming involves heating plastic sheets until they soften and then shaping and cooling them in a mold.this process is suitable for manufacturing large, thin-walled products such as packaging trays and vehicle interior trim.
In rotational molding, raw plastic material is placed in a mold that is rotated and heated along two vertical axes so that the plastic is evenly distributed in the mold and takes on the desired shape.this process is suitable for manufacturing large hollow objects such as tanks and toys.
In plastics manufacturing, material selection is critical, and commonly used plastics include polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), each with different properties and applications, so selection should be made according to the functional requirements of the product.
