A rotary valve is used for dosing granulate (regrind).
The rotary valve consists of a cast housing and a rotating rotor with radially arranged cells that transport the granulate from one area to another.
The cells are filled with the material by the rotation of the rotor and then transport it through a channel or pipe, while at the same time enabling a continuous flow of material.

RVC Drop-Through Rotary Valves consist of a tubular cast iron or stainless steel casing, a horizontally mounted rotor with a certain number of oblique V-shaped cross section compartments, a drive unit and casing covers at both ends.

These Hygienic Design Rotary Valves are used as dosing or discharge equipment for free-flowing bulk solids. The dismantling of the rotary valve is done by loosen of two clamp rings - for a quick and easy cleaning. Their main field of application is the pharmaceutical, food industry and other GMP regulated production Areas.
