Cap and start-up screens can be used as start-up protection in pipelines and protect downstream plant components such as valves, pumps, meters, etc. in the critical start-up phase from contamination by welding beads, scale, rolling skin parts, sealing residues, lubricating grease, etc. The cap or start-up screen can be removed after the start-up phase, e.g. during the first revision.
Cap and start-up screens consist of a flange and a wall (supporting body) made of perforated plate. Inside or outside, the hat or start-up screen is covered with wire mesh. We manufacture the top-hat and start-up screens according to your wishes, i.e. you determine the dimensions.

Available sizes ranging from DN 50 / 2" to DN 600 / 24" are standard with various mesh sizes of the sieve in the dimensions according to EN 558-1.
