Cutting mills (also known as knife mills, secondary shredders or similar) are machines that are used in various areas for shredding materials to produce regrind.
. Granulators are an essential part of the plastics recycling process and are also used in the plastics processing industry to reduce plastic waste and prepare recycled plastics for reuse.

NEUE HERBOLD granulators are knife granulators that are extremely stable and heavy-duty and can therefore withstand the toughest demands in continuous operation.

For the recycling sector, we also offer our granulators as wet granulators,
which are usually integrated into a recycling plant (washing plant) for contaminated plastics. In order to counteract wear - especially with contaminated plastics - we equip our granulators with wear protection plates on customer request and equip areas of the rotor that come into contact with the material with wear armoring.

Neue Herbold offers granulators (sometimes also called secondary shredders) in various designs - specially adapted to the task of the material to be shredded.
Various sizes and rotor variants are available to achieve the best shredding result.
