Submersible pumps are devices used to transport and convey liquids. The rainwater is then used for garden irrigation, showers in the garden or watering cans. The water withdrawal can be conveniently controlled with a stopcock at the edge of the barrel. If a connection piece is integrated, a garden hose can also be attached, which makes rainwater use even more convenient. The installation of filters protects against the formation of dirty water. Rain barrel pumps with and without float switch are available for rain barrels and cisterns. Rain drum pumps with integrated float switch have the advantage that, when the water level is low, they prevent dry running and can usually be switched from automatic to manual. If this is not required, a device without a float is sufficient. If they have a non-return valve or a non-return valve, the water does not return if operation is interrupted. Rooms and fountains also have connections for small water pumps to circulate the water. They are underwater and an internal float is integrated so that the fountain pumps are not visible from the outside. Pools also have centrifugal pumps to keep the water clean. If the pool is prepared for wintering, they pump it out completely in a short time. Some devices can be powered by solar energy.
