Sweepers are mechanisms that are self-propelled machines. These are usually mounted on a truck chassis. An attachment of such a chassis for municipal equipment or construction vehicles is also in use. So-called attachment sweepers usually work with the principle of dirt collection, which is also known as the sweeping shovel principle. The construction of such a device essentially consists of a dirt container, which is responsible for collecting the debris. Under the tank there is usually a diesel engine, which drives a fan. This fan causes underpressure in the dirt container and thus triggers an intake function. The fans used in this way are driven either mechanically or hydraulically.
