A driving licence is an official document which allows the owner to drive a vehicle. The type of vehicle (motorcycle, car, truck or boat) is recorded in the driving licence. After passing the practical test, the student receives the desired document. The driving licence is issued with a photo and the personal data of the holder and is distributed on trial. If the holder does not comply with the traffic regulations during the trial period, the driving licence may be revoked. Furthermore, children can get a bicycle driving licence. This is usually offered from 6 years of age. It helps children to move safely on the road by bicycle and to learn the rules of the road. At the same time, the parents can be sure that the child knows the necessary guidelines in road traffic and is safe on a bicycle.
