Schools are regional educational institutions that teach different types of learning content.In primary schools children aged 6-10 years are taught the basics of general education. At secondary schools such as the Realschule and Gymnasium, children are then prepared for graduation and learn additional subjects such as foreign languages, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and many other subjects.In addition, there are a large number of technical schools for young people and adults. This includes all facilities of the vocational school branch. Vocational schools provide trainees from various fields with the theoretical knowledge they need to practise their profession. There are therefore vocational schools for trades such as bricklayers, carpenters or electricians, but also pedagogically and economically oriented vocational schools for educators, curative educators, cooks, housekeepers etc.worth mentioning are also the so-called universities of applied sciences. The education at a university of applied sciences is the same as at a university and students of these educational institutions receive a diploma in the respective subject area after successful completion.
