Classification by transmission medium
Wired communication: refers to the communication in the form of wires, cables, optical cables, waveguides, nanomaterials and other transmission media. Its characteristics are that the media can be seen and touched (open line communication, cable communication, optical cable communication, optical fiber and optical cable communication).
Wireless communication: refers to a form of communication (microwave communication, shortwave communication, mobile communication, satellite communication, scattering communication) in which the transmission medium is invisible and intangible (such as electromagnetic wave).

Wired communication equipment:
Commonly used cable communication equipment includes: computer, TV, telephone, PCM, optical transceiver, server, etc
Wireless communication equipment:
Satellite, radio station, wireless TV (on bus or subway), wireless LAN, mobile phone (mobile phone), mobile GPRS internet access, etc.
