Wire Flame Spraying
Here metallic wires are used as coating material. After the flame is ignited, the spray wire is fed through a nozzle into the flame and melted - atomized to particles by the additionally supplied compressed air and shot onto a prepared workpiece surface. There they solidify rapidly and bond to the surface of the workpiece.
Wire flame spraying is a low-cost technique for repairing machine elements and is ideal for corrosion protection.
In other applications, the workpieces are given improved conductivity. We have specialised in the shielding and field control of medium and high voltage electrical components.Advantage:
all sprayed particles are melted through
high application efficiency
spray materials:Various carbon, chromium and nickel-chromium steels, bronze, copper, molybdenum, tin, nickel and nickel-aluminium andmainly materials.Application:
- repair of worn machine parts
- corrosion protection
- wear protection with molybdenum
- spraying of tin sliding bearings
- improved conductivity (e.g. B. Copper or silver coatings
on aluminium)
- Sprayed-on shielding and/or field control
POWDER FLAME SPRAY
This method uses a powder which is melted by means of a flame and shot as spray particles onto the workpiece.The molten powder cools on the surface and forms a firm bond with the surface.Powder flame spraying is similar to wire flame spraying, however, the choice of materials to be coated is larger than is the case with spray wires.
Advantage:
Practically all spray additive materials including Ceramics and plastics can be processed
