Following the EU REACH requirements, our new technologies are able to maintain performance specifications of conventional chrome plating and to reduce environmental impact at the same time. Also applicable for 2K and 3K molded products.

The refinement of metal or plastic by galvanic processes, as carried out at the highest level by August Schröder GmbH & Co KG, fulfils a number of different functions.
Surfaces can be decisive for the perception of a product - therefore, a refinement with chrome, for example, usually pays off for purely aesthetic reasons. Apart from the modern demands on design, however, galvanised surfaces offer a number of tangible advantages that every professional appreciates. This includes, above all, permanent protection against corrosion, but also resistance to wear, increase of surface hardness, or protection against aggressive liquids. Depending on the intended use of the goods we finish, the aim of galvanizing can also be to increase electrical conductivity or to produce a solderable surface. When selecting finishing processes, we therefore always ask ourselves one question: How do we best meet our customers' requirements? To be able to offer the best possible answer, we work closely with you. Our solutions are thus individually and precisely tailored to your needs. Depending on your requirements for the surface and the geometry of the goods to be finished, the surface finishing is carried out either by means of a drum or rack. As a rule, parts which can be processed in large quantities as bulk material at low cost are considered to be barrel plated. Frame finishing, on the other hand, offers the advantage of individual processing and can therefore be used for larger parts that are picked up piece by piece on a frame;
