These plain bearings are used for bearing points with low sliding speed and/or high specific load or where no hydrodynamic lubrication is achieved. Solid lubricant plain bearings are also used if lubrication of the plain bearings with oil or grease is not possible or not desired.plain bearings of this design are particularly suitable for oscillating and intermittent motion sequences.
