Application areas Fuel tanks in many sizes and shapes are used in the automotive industry. The tank builders offer a wide range of accessories for all types of vehicles. Fuel tanks are also needed for aircraft and watercraft. Before fabrication, the designers must check which conditions will occur during use. Should it be made for a truck, a car or a motorcycle? This results in considerable differences with regard to the required volume and the maximum dead weight of the parts to be installed. Individual solutions are used in the processing industry. The prices for plastics are significantly lower than those for metal, as manufacturers have less effort in processing and purchasing the raw materials.
