The XLW, XLW (M), XLW (B), XLW (PC), XLW (EC), XLW (G6) and MED-01 models are material testers capable of testing, among other things, tensile strength, elongation coefficient, pull-off resistance at 90 or 180 degrees, sealing seam strength and tear strength of a wide range of material samples.
The specimen is clamped between the clamps of the instrument. The clamps move away from each other while the change in force and deformation is measured. Approximately 100 different clamps are available for the instruments, which can clamp up to 1000 materials such as plastic films, laminated materials, adhesives, adhesive tape, tape, leather, rubber and paper.
The models differ in their nominal load, lifting height, number of material test points and test variants. The speed of the clamps is also variable.
The FPT-F1 is a friction and pull-off tester and tests both the static and dynamic coefficient of friction and the pull-off resistance of adhesive materials at a 180° pull-off angle. XLW (PC) and XLW (M) models are particularly suitable for ductile materials.
The MED-01 device is especially suitable for medical packaging materials and can test 16 different material properties bidirectionally. While the XLW (PC) model is the entry-level model with its ease of use and economy, the XLW (EC) is the high-end model with the latest technology.
The device BLD-200N is especially suitable for the determination of the peel-off resistance in 90 or 180 degree angles.
