The angle grinder is an electrically driven manual machine and is suitable for cutting various materials. The function is guaranteed by an electric motor with 220 volt alternating current, the angular gear and the cut-off wheel. The angular gear converts the incoming horizontal rotary movement into a vertical rotary movement and sets the cut-off wheel in rotation. The angular gear guarantees the precise cutting process. The housing is responsible for the safe handling of the device. It consists of the handle with the ON-OFF switch, the additional handle, the protective cover and the grinding wheel. The protective cover must cover at least 175° of the grinding wheel circumference and the side facing the machine. The angle grinder is used for cutting steel, concrete, ceramics and stone. The manufacturer information printed on the cut-off wheel enables an exact material classification. This results in a wide range of applications, e.g. in construction, installation work, metal construction or road construction and paving work.When cutting steel profiles it must be ensured that the angle grinder does not tilt as soon as the cutting disc penetrates into the material. The result would be the destruction of the cut-off wheel. Therefore, the angle grinder must be guided with both hands. Make sure that no fire is caused by flying sparks. Wearing safety goggles, gloves, hearing protection and safety helmet is mandatory.
