Our company, the roll foundry Karl Buch Walzengiesserei GmbH & Co. KG, was founded in 1855. Ever since, KB-rolls have been a standard for quality and reliability among specialists. Our work is dedicated to the technical progress in roll production and our more than 150 years’ experience is completed by continuous scientific research and development. We apply state-of-the-art metallurgical procedures for casting, heat treatment and machining as well as for inspection and measuring. In all these process steps we are committed to provide the utmost care to every production step. Thus, we are in a position to meet the highest demands and to provide solutions for special requirements. Furthermore, the proficiency and experience of our staff contribute to these capabilities.

The company Rolltec GmbHdevelops, designs, calculates and manufactures temperature-controlled rollers for the plastics industry. We can draw on 15 years of experience in the strength and thermodynamic design of double-walled rolls, and our cooperation with Core Link, a world-renowned Swedish roll and machine manufacturer, forms a solid basis. Core Link has been supplying the paper and plastics industry with machines and rolls since 1964, which means that Rolltec has single and double-walled rolls for almost all applications in its range.
