Dispensers are used at petrol stations. With the aid of fuel pumps, the driver can fill up with new fuel for his vehicle when the tank is empty. Nowadays, petrol prices have risen sharply as the earth's oil reserves are running out. In order to be prepared for this, researchers are developing vehicles that can move with renewable resources, for example solar energy, or other fuels, for example natural gas. Since natural gas filling stations cannot use conventional fuel dispensers to refuel vehicles, special dispensers were developed for the refuelling of natural gas vehicles. These are connected airtightly to the tank opening of the car and then the refuelling can start. Since natural gas is still very cheap at present, since there are still many reserves underground for this raw material, many drivers switch to a natural gas car, since they can thus save a lot of money and at the same time supply the environment with fewer pollutants.
