Oil paints for various applications The term oil paint is a collective term for paints produced on the basis of oils as binders that dry. They can be used as artist's paints as well as for building and handicraft. The properties of linseed oil paint, water-repellent and breathable, make it particularly interesting for painting wood, such as shutters, doors, windows or timber framing. As this can evaporate again when moisture penetrates, rot and mould growth is prevented.Natural pure linseed oil paints can also be used indoors without hesitation.
