EICKER - a family business since 1928
Our company was founded in 1928 by Mr. Wilhelm Eicker and was primarily engaged in the production of special knives for worldwide export.
In 1946 Heinz Eicker , son of the founder, joined the company. He was the owner for 60 years. Under his management the domestic as well as the European business was expanded.
In 1972 the management was extended. Son Thomas Eicker joined the company after completing his training and studies. He was mainly concerned with the expansion of further exports. A new company logo was developed - the now world-famous globe with the inscription EICKER-MESSER.
For almost 90 years, the name Eicker has stood for high-quality knives produced especially for the meat industry. Thus, we occupy a leading position as a Solingen manufacturer. Production is carried out on the most modern machines, and only selected special steels are used.
Today, the program includes all types of meat knives, boning and carving knives, sharpening steels as well as an extensive range of accessories. The manufacturing location is Solingen/ Germany, the center of the German cutlery industry.
Since 2005 Nicholas Eicker has been working in the company in the fourth generation. His task is to meet the ever increasing demands in terms of quality and delivery time.
EICKER products are highly appreciated all over the world, which makes us proud, but also obliges us to continue to be a leader on the world market through quality. Under the slogan " Top of Cutlery " we export today in over 30 countries.

Fordura Germany was created in Radebeul in 1982, by Forrest Brothers (J. Forrest and H. Forrest) with name of Forrest Brothers Manufacturing GmbH in their small family workshop, which actually was a car garage.
We changed our company name to: FORDURA Recycling Tools Germany GmbH. In the year of 1995, the company name changed into Fordura Recycling Tools Germany GmbH, setting the foundation for the Fordura Group. Over the years, Fordura has become one of the world’s leading blades & knives manufacturers in this market, and our blades are widely applied to renewable recycling resources in plastic, tire, rubber, metal, e-waste, MSW, textile, packaging, paper and wood, like shredder blades & knives, granulator blades, wood chipper blades, hydraulic shear knives etc.
Fordura, is a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing of various types of industrial blades and knives for recycling machines, including single and double shaft shredder blades, granulator blades, wood chipper knives, and blades for various machines such as choppers, raspers, graters, hydraulic shears, and balers. Along with blades and knives, Fordura also manufactures screens, rotors, shafts, spacers, and other machine parts as per customer requirements.
