Our company, based on many years of experience with dried polar pine Kelo, offers unique wall panels for cladding of steam rooms, living rooms and offices. We perform the whole cycle of Kelo woodworking by ourselves. Our production facility is equipped with all the necessary equipment for sawing, drying, preparing and finishing the surfaces and framework of the panels.
Kelo dried wood does not need to be treated with chemicals, because the dead wood will stand on the root and dry naturally for several decades, becoming exceptionally resistant to the environment and microorganisms. Dried wood, hardened by the nature itself, will never be infested with bugs and fungus.
Kelo is considered one of the best finishes for a traditional Finnish sauna. Kelo has almost ideal humidity retention, low thermal conductivity and high heat capacity. These properties help to keep the temperature inside the steam room for a long time and get a mild heat. Kelo wood does not release any resin (resin pockets may appear in the first month of use), it does not change colour and size, but it gives a rich pine scent.
The surface of the Kelo trunk has a silver color, often with brown spots on the bark, and a natural texture, with knots, cracks, traces of bark beetles and moss, which clearly shows the natural character of the materials. Kelo wood is valued for its eco-friendliness, the beauty of its shades ranging from pink to honey-golden, its ashy-silver color and the deep aroma of pine resin.
This is why Kelo is used not only in steam rooms, but also in living rooms and even offices, emphasizing the closeness to nature, eco-friendliness, naturalness and natural beauty.
