The Bareiss Prüfgerätebau GmbH characterises the development of hardness tests on elastomers and other soft elastic materials by innovation and progress, since its foundation by Heinrich Bareiss in 1954. Nowadays Bareiss and its 42 qualified colleagues develop, manufacture and distribute top-quality testing devices for rubber, plastics and soft elastic materials in pharmacy and food industry, as they did in the past.
In order to be able to guarantee top-quality of its products durably, Bareiss has established a management system acc. to ISO 9001. Die KDM Kabel- und Drahtmaschinen GmbH wurde 1989 in Neustadt bei Coburg Herrn Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Pilz gegründet. Davor war Herr Pilz 20 Jahre in dem dort ansässigen Kabelwerk in leitender Position tätig. Ihm unterstanden die Konstruktion von Maschinen für die Kabelfertigung sowie die Projektierung von Kabelfabriken im In- und Ausland. Die damit verbundenen Probleme und Aufgabenstellungen wurden damals wie heute in kundenorientierte Projekten gelöst.
