Viscoseal (VS)
The viscoseal is the standard seal for WITTE EXTRU and BOOSTER pumps. This is a dynamic seal for high viscosities and suction pressures. It can be provided with heating or cooling. The dynamic seal is suitable for high pressures and temperatures. Its range of use is limited by the suction pressure and the viscosity of the medium being conveyed (at least 10 Pas). The viscosity can be increased by an additional cooling system if necessary.

Stuffing Box
The stuffing box is a simple (static) seal for WITTE gear pumps. It can be provided with buffering if so desired. The range of application is similar to that of the viscoseal. The standard material used for the packing rings is made of expanded pure graphite with structural textile fibes. But it goes without saying, that other materials are also available.

High performance and flexible High pressure gear pumps. A subtype of the generic term positive displacement pump, this gear pump is basically a mechanical drive means for hydraulic (hydraulic gear pumps) force transducers (hydraulic motors) and for pumping different liquids under high pressures and temperatures.Special High pressure gear pumps operate as a high-performance version with extreme hydraulic efficiency in the capacity range from approx. 200 bar. The basic principle of operation is to pump a medium as evenly as possible (above all highly viscous liquids of various consistencies) with the appropriate pressure resistance against a force acting against it from the outside.
The mean pressure is regulated according to the basic laws of hydraulics as the load increases. The most important components of every high-pressure gear pump are a comprehensive aluminium housing part with inlet and outlet element for the medium to be pumped, two gear wheels (external gear pumps) and shafts made of surface-hardened and ground case-hardened steel within with drive function for one wheel.
