We, the Robert Winkelsträter GmbH & Co.KG - were founded in 1952 in Schwelm,
which you can find in the southern part of the “Ruhr-area” in the western part of Germany
Nowadays, our headquarter and our production halls were located in the industrial
area “Oelkinghausen” in Ennepetal, near by Schwelm.
In this buildings, 18 employees are producing, commissioning and selling their products:

• pressed parts and bent components (e. g. hinges and fittings)
• turned- or wire-bent pieces
• laser cut parts for small series and short delivery time
• connection elements or component assemblies

Additional to our standard product-range we have also production of customised parts.

The Görlitzer Hanf & Drahtseilerei was founded in 1836.
For generations our motto has been ‘Service to customers’. A new company has been created on approx. 4,000 square metres which meets all modern requirements. Since 1996 we have been certified in accordance to ISO 9001 and we belong to the FSA [Professional Association for Ropes and Slings] as well as to the Federal Association of Rope, Net and Sail Makers. • We splice steel ropes up to 54 mm
• We manufacture steel ropes in all sizes
• We produce cords in all thicknesses
• We inspect and maintain all lifting devices and load suspension devices
• We tear and test thoroughly, up to 400 kN, on our testing machines
• We manufacture and produce using traditional methods of rope splicing
• We have been training apprentices since 1950
