maxgo GmbH è stata fondata nel 2011 a Essen come UG con l'attività principale di commercio online di articoli elettronici. Nel 2015, l'azienda è stata rilevata dagli attuali amministratori delegati e soci e ristrutturata in un'attività di assemblaggio di cavi.
A causa della crescita costante, alla fine del 2017 sono stati trasferiti nuovi magazzini e uffici più grandi a Hattingen an der Ruhr.
Oggi a Hattingen, su un'area di stoccaggio di circa 500 m², si trovano scaffalature a tamburo con 35 posti per oltre 35 KM di cavi di diverse forme e sezioni, nonché un magazzino a scaffale alto con circa 100 posti per pallet.
L'assemblaggio si concentra sui cavi di alimentazione, dalle prolunghe per contatti di terra da 3x1,5mm² 16A 230V ai cavi di alimentazione CEE 5x25mm² 63A 400V.
Nel 2019, il gruppo è stato ampliato per includere i connettori Powercon di Neutrik. Inoltre, sono stati allestiti tavoli di assemblaggio per i contatti a saldare e sono stati aggiunti alla gamma i cavi di controllo DMX con connettori XLR.
