La storia di successo dell'azienda ha inizio nel 1963.
L'allora American Louver Continental GmbH fu fondata come filiale di un'azienda americana e fu quindi una delle prime aziende nel settore delle lamelle per luce e soffitto.
Dal 1983 ha operato con il nome di ALC-Louver GmbH con sede ad Aschaffenburg / Baviera. All'attività di importazione, inizialmente pura, si sono aggiunti gradualmente altri prodotti propri. Le innovazioni, il miglior know-how tecnico e la flessibilità produttiva hanno reso ALC-Louver GmbH una delle aziende leader nel settore delle ottiche per luce e soffitto negli ultimi 55 anni.
Con il trasferimento della sede centrale a Bitterfeld-Wolfen (Sassonia-Anhalt) il 01.01.2018 è iniziato un altro capitolo della storia dell'azienda. Nella nuova sede, la produzione continua con il know-how di Aschaffenburg, tanto che il trasferimento è passato quasi inosservato.
Le applicazioni possibili delle ottiche per soffitti leggeri ALC sono molto varie. Che si tratti di strisce luminose, di soffitti luminosi completi o di coperture per apparecchi da incasso e da superficie, le ottiche per luci e soffitti aprono numerose possibilità per progettare gli ambienti in modo funzionale e allo stesso tempo altamente decorativo.
I pannelli delle lamelle possono essere sospesi al soffitto nudo in un sistema a binario, a cassetta o senza giunzioni e nascondono efficacemente i sistemi di cavi montati sul soffitto nudo grazie al loro angolo antiriflesso.
