The company Walter Potthoff GmbH is a medium-sized family enterprise located in Meinerzhagen with presently about 50 employees. Our expertises are the development and production of thermoplastic components as well as planning, design and manufacture of injection moulds and tool components to be used in our production.
We produce mainly technical parts which demand a high degree of precision for keeping the required tolerances and specifications. Our long experience in the field of thermoplastic injection moulding enables us to assist our customers in all relevant technical problems. Our company is certified in accordance to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 since 1997 respectively 2012.
The production of the injection moulded parts takes place on a total of 50 injection moulding machines of Arburg, Battenfeld, Boy and Ferromatik, which cover a clamping force range of 15t to 200t. By own patented process improvements we achieve a high quality level, a low waste rate and low production costs. The engaged machinery is up to the state-of-the-art and allows the production of components with a shot weight from under one gram up to 500 gram with or without inserts at a high level of reproducibility. For joining of plastics components we use the ultrasonic welding technique which is characterised by low cycle times and is thus very economic.
Our customers mainly operate in the fields of medical engineering, electrical engineering and food industry.
